Partnership Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR)

The Partnership Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR) will have been given to you by HM Revenue & Customs when registering your Partnership for Self Assessment. It is made up of 10 numbers, for example, 1234567890 and you will find it on your Partnership Tax Return, a Notice to complete a Partnership Tax Return or on your Partnership Statement of Account. It may also be on other documents.

Depending on the type of document issued the reference may be printed next to the headings 'Tax Reference', 'UTR' or 'Official Use'.
